Azan Plus was built to be a Muslim companion app you can genuinely trust with your privacy. It has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Everything you enter — your location, your prayer settings, your tracker history, your bookmarks, your own duas — is stored only on your own device. We don't have a server that collects it, because we don't have a server at all, beyond the handful of specific, named lookups described below.
Azan Plus is developed by Crescent Studio. If you have any questions about this policy or the app, you can reach us at crescentstudio.info@gmail.com.
The following is saved locally on your phone and never leaves it:
Uninstalling the app removes this data. (One technical note: some Android phones automatically back up app data to your Google account and can restore it if you reinstall — this is a phone-level feature, not something Azan Plus sends anywhere itself. You can turn this off for the app in your phone's own backup settings if you'd prefer a fully clean slate on reinstall.)
Azan Plus works fully offline for its core prayer-time calculations. A small number of optional features do need an internet connection, and only send the minimum needed to work:
None of these services are used to identify you personally, and Azan Plus does not attach your name, email, or any account identifier to these requests — because the app doesn't have that information about you in the first place.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds a genuinely new feature that needs different data — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
